CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the nationally recognised entry-level qualification for people who want to work as early childhood educators in regulated education and care services.

Venture Education delivers CHC30125 through blended online and workplace learning for students in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Townsville. The course combines flexible study with practical experience and direct trainer support.
After completing CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, graduates can continue their studies with the CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Eligible units completed in the Certificate III can contribute credit towards the Diploma, reducing duplicated study.
The Diploma develops more advanced knowledge and can support progression towards room leader, educational leadership and service-management responsibilities.
CHC30125 students must complete a minimum of 160 hours of vocational placement in an ACECQA-approved regulated education and care service. Placement is completed across the course and must include practical experience with babies and toddlers under two years of age.
You need to be employed or volunteering in a suitable service to complete the practical components. If you do not already have access to a service, Venture Education may be able to help you connect with an industry partner; placement cannot be guaranteed.
If you already work in an eligible service, verified employment hours may count towards the placement requirement. Your trainer will review supporting evidence and confirm which hours can be accepted.

CHC30125 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the nationally recognised entry-level qualification for people who want to work as educators in regulated early childhood education and care services. It develops the practical skills and knowledge required to support children’s health, safety, wellbeing, learning and development.
The full-time course duration is generally 12 to 18 months. Your completion time can vary depending on your study pace, workplace arrangements, vocational placement and how quickly you complete the required assessments.
Applicants need an appropriate level of language, literacy and numeracy skills aligned with the Australian Core Skills Framework. You also need a current Blue Card or evidence that you have applied for one, plus access to an appropriate regulated education and care service for the course’s practical requirements and vocational placement.

CHC30125 Certificate III is the entry-level qualification for people starting in early childhood education and care.
