To support Queensland’s recent graduates to successfully transition to employment, the Queensland government is offering free training in high priority areas. At Venture Education students can study a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, fee free traineeship*, meet the criteria. An additional option of a free Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is offered through a free apprenticeship*.

Eligible graduates must enrol and start training at the end of 2022 or early 2023, to take advantage of this great opportunity.

If you permanently reside in Queensland and you graduated from Year 12 in 2019 or 2020, you have until 31 December 2020 to enrol for FREE in a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care. Year 12 Fee Free is an initiative by the Queensland Government to get more Queenslanders skilled in high priority areas and into jobs.

This is the entry level qualification for anyone who wants to work in the childcare industry. You’ll learn about the fundamentals of early childhood development, education and care the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings.

This qualification is required to work in supervisor and senior roles such as a lead educator, coordinator or director in an early childhood service. You'll gain the skills to design and implement curriculum in early childhood education and care services.

Are you eligible to study for free with Venture Education?

You can access fee-free training if you:

  1. have completed Year 12 in Queensland and hold a Senior Statement issued by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority or equivalent certification
  2. Graduate Year 12 in 2019 or 2020, enrol and start an apprenticeship, traineeship or training with an approved training provider in a high priority qualification by 18 December, 2020.
  3. permanently reside in Queensland.
